Prominent Indian leader meets Indian Muslim community in New Jersey

The Indian American Muslims of New Jersey welcomed Mohammed Adeeb, a prominent advocate for justice and equality and former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh. During his recent visit, Adeeb praised the work Indian Muslims in the USA were doing to promote human rights, social justice, and community empowerment.

The event was organized by the Indian American Muslim Community, IAMC.

Addressing gathering in New Jersey, Adeeb shared inspiring words about the importance of standing up for justice and supporting marginalized communities. His message emphasized the importance of every Muslim’s belief in and fostering collective leadership while actively engaging in ground initiatives that can make a meaningful impact on the cause of the Ummah, a press release from organizers said.

“The work being done by Indian American Muslims in the United States is a beacon of hope for so many,” said Adeeb. “Whether in India or the United States, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to justice and amplify the voices of those who are often unheard. Through these efforts, we can build a more inclusive and equitable society.”

He also emphasized the importance of “open dialogue with the majority community,” highlighted the “ills of hatred and division,” and reminded everyone about the transformative power of unity.

The IAMC reaffirmed its dedication to promoting social harmony and protecting the rights of minorities through advocacy, education, and community engagement, further building on the momentum created by Adeeb’s visit.P
